Hello, I'm Elizabeth

"I have two very distinct 'mothers' in me ; The more "conventional" mother I am within the confines of my indoor life, and the wild mother I become when I put on my running/biking shoes and open the door to adventure.  I think my kids like her best."

I have a passion for people and their inspiring stories, and for my own story, too.  I enjoy learning about the new people I meet, ...one question leads to another and another until...yes, I guess I get a little carried away.

Like all of us, we have many things that help to make us whole and happy.  My family is the most important.  I'm a mom of two daughters ages 9 and 5.  Some of my superpowers include time bending, saying "yes" to all things fun no matter how wild the adventure and especially if it gets me out of making dinner, running with other mamas at the fringe hours of the day before the rest of the world rises, and commuting by bike with my kids even on the coldest days of the year although we have a perfectly good car parked in the garage.

Oh, and I can sleep almost anywhere, and I feel I shine brightest with very little comfort and few material things.  I'm sure I was born to be outside with all I need in a backpack.

I have two very distinct mothers in me ; The more "
conventional" mother I need to be within the confines of my indoor life, and the wild mother I feel I become when I put on my running/biking shoes and open the door to adventure.  I think my kids like her best.

I feel the most ALIVE, intensely AWAKE and my very BEST self in the outdoors.  I believe there is a traveling/adventurous spirit in us all and if we are more keenly aware of it's presence, and nurture it, it can result in a happier soul.

I like to write and document through photography and film.  I love natural light, and enjoy capturing the candid moments. Currently I have a documentary film project brewing about outdoor mamas!
